Frequently asked questions

Why does the assistant ask for what reason I want to make an appointment with the GP?

When making an appointment, the assistant will ask about the reason for your contact. She is trained to do so and does so in order to best assess the nature and urgency of your possible complaints. The assistant (like the GP) is obliged to treat your information confidentially.

Do I have to pay for a visit to the GP?

As a patient, you do not have to pay anything for regular GP care; the health insurer does this for you. Also, you do not have to pay any excess when you visit the GP. However, if you are prescribed medication or an additional examination is requested by your GP, this will be deducted from your deductible. In most cases, this also applies to laboratory tests (examination of blood, urine, faeces, etc.).

Where can I view my examination results?

You can easily view your results and explanations at MyHealth.net. Once we have received and reviewed the result, we will put it online with an explanation. This allows you to review the information at your convenience.

Would you rather call for your results? Of course you can! Please note that on average it takes two working days for the results to reach us. For results or general questions, please call after 10 a.m. as the telephone is very busy between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Not showing up at your appointment without cancelling

Lately, unfortunately, it often happens that patients make an appointment but do not show up. This causes unnecessary loss of time for the GP, practice assistant and doctor's assistant, as your arrival has been counted on.

What do you do if you want to cancel an appointment and it concerns a consultation with a GP?
Of course, it may happen that you cannot or do not wish to make an appointment. In that case, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance by calling and selecting the 'cancel appointment' option in our menu. This way, another patient can be helped in your place.

What happens if you do not cancel on time?
If you do not cancel in time, you will receive a bill for 30 euros. This bill will not be reimbursed by the health insurer and you will have to pay it yourself.

Unexpected crisis situations can always arise, of course we fully understand that. In that case, please contact the practice.

What are the opening hours of the GP practice?

We are open Monday to Friday from 08:00 - 17:00.

When is the consultation hour?

Our consultation hours are daily from 08:00 to 11:30 and 14:30 to 16:00. Please call for an appointment? You can also schedule an appointment yourself via the patient portal.

Do you also do inspections?

Our GPs do not carry out medical examinations. Our professional association KNMG recommends that examinations are carried out by an independent doctor .
