Frequently asked questions

Why does the assistant ask for what reason I want to make an appointment with the GP?

When making an appointment, the assistant will ask about the reason for your contact. She is trained to do so and does so in order to best assess the nature and urgency of your possible complaints. The assistant (like the GP) is obliged to treat your information confidentially.

Do I have to pay for a visit to the GP?

As a patient, you do not have to pay anything for regular GP care; the health insurer does this for you. Also, you do not have to pay any excess when you visit the GP. However, if you are prescribed medication or an additional examination is requested by your GP, this will be deducted from your deductible. In most cases, this also applies to laboratory tests (examination of blood, urine, faeces, etc.).

Where can I view my examination results?

You can view your result and an explanation online on MijnGezondheid.net. Once the result has been received and assessed by us, we will post it with an explanation on MijnGezondheid.net. This allows you to view the results at your convenience at a time that suits you.

Calling for your examination results is, of course, also possible. Please bear in mind that on average it takes two working days for us to receive your test results. If you are calling for results or general questions, please call after 10 a.m. because of the telephone traffic between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Not showing up at your appointment without cancelling

Recently, it has unfortunately become a regular occurrence that a patient makes an appointment and then does not show up for the consultation. This wastes an unnecessary amount of time for the GP/Doctor's assistant. After all, you have been counted on!

What do you do if you want to cancel an appointment and it concerns a consultation with a GP?
It can always happen that you cannot or do not want to make the appointment. In that case, please call at least 24 hours in advance and let us know that you cannot come. In our menu, you can choose the option to cancel an appointment. Another patient can then be scheduled in your place.

What happens if you do not cancel on time?
You will be billed 30 euros if you do not cancel in time. This bill will not be reimbursed by the health insurer and you will have to pay it yourself.

Unexpected crisis situations can always arise, of course we fully understand that. In that case, please contact the practice.

What are the opening hours of the GP practice?

We are open Monday to Friday from 08:00 - 17:00.

When is the consultation hour?

Our consultation hours are daily from 08:00 to 11:30 and 14:30 to 16:00. Please call for an appointment? You can also schedule an appointment yourself via the patient portal.

Do you also do inspections?

Our GPs do not carry out medical examinations. Our professional association KNMG recommends that examinations are carried out by an independent doctor .
